In order to get a good bond to the concrete with the Epoxy Coatings,  the first thing we will do is shot blast the slab. We have a small shot blaster and it is hooked up to a Hepa Vacuum system that creates NO dust. It shoots tiny bb's at the concrete surface removing any sealers, oils or loose concrete.

We then prep the slab and fix any defects, cracks etc.

The next step is to primer the slab. Some companies will not use a primer, but the primer we use is actually a vapor retarder. So, if you have a moisture problem this will create a vapor barrier between the slab and the epoxy coatings allowing the epoxy to stick and not fail. We let that dry overnight.

Next we apply the color coat, which is put down by pouring the product on the floor and squeeging it around. Then we will backroll it one way and then 90 degrees from that direction.

The Flake is then spread over the entire floor and let dry overnight.

We then scrape and vacuum any loose flake up and seal the floor with a Chemical Resistant Urethane coating. In 24-48 hours you will be able to walk on it and in 5 days it will be fully cured. (depending on weather)

You now have a beautiful floor!
